If, for any reason you are unable to join or attend an Open DofE Centre or participate in a school group, you can enrol as an independent participant. You would do this by contacting the County DofE Office for an application form and a discussion on your choice of programme.
We will help you identify activities for the Volunteering, Skill and Physical sections, giving you local contacts and any advice and guidance you need.
For the expedition section you would need to join with other independent participants on ‘open’ expeditions which are arranged each year in various areas of Britain and abroad. These can be found on the DofE website.
